DreamCarXchange is thrilled to offer this 1991 Acura NSX 6-speed manual. This first year NSX is finished in Berlina Black over Ivory leather interior. According to the CARFAX it was originally registered in Long Island, NY then spent 1996-2013 in New Jersey, followed by North Carolina from 2014-2018 then on to Georgia to its current owner in early 2019. The car has numerous upgrades including a supercharger, 6-speed manual transmission, exhaust and wheels. It currently shows 77,755 miles and is being sold with a clean CARFAX and the lien currently on the Georgia title is being paid off the week of Dec 21st 2020 to speed up the title transfer to the new owner.
1991 marked the inaugural year for Acura’s new sportscar in the US. It was first shown at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show where it shocked the supercar world and put Ferrari and others on notice, showing that quality, performance and jaw dropping looks were no longer mutually exclusive. The NSX (for New Sportscar eXperimental) featured the world’s first mass-produced car to feature an all-aluminum body. This along with expansive use of aluminum in the chassis allowed for Acura to keep the weight to only 3,010 pounds. According to Acura, a total of 3,163 NSXs were made for the US for 1991, of which only 474 came in this combo of Berlina Black/Ivory and a manual transmission.
The interior of this NSX is finished with Ivory leather seats and lower trim with black leather upper door trim and dash, with this example being completely stock including the Bose cassette stereo. To enhance the driving experience, the steering is unassisted.
The engine from the factory is a 3.0-liter DOHC V6 features VTEC variable valve timing (VVT) and was rated at 270 horsepower @ 7,100 rpm and 210 lb-ft of torque @ 5,300 rpm, and features titanium connecting rods allowing it to rev to a 8,000 rpm redline. This example features the additional power of an Injen Technology Supercharger and DC Sport exhaust. It has also been upgraded to a 6-speed manual transmission (it was equipped with the 5-speed manual from the factory) which were in the 1997 and later first-gen NSXs. If a future owner would like to bring the engine back to stock, the original intake, fan and other parts pictured are included with the sale.

In January 2019, the wheels were upgraded to Enkei Racing PF01 17 x 8 fronts and 18 x 9.5 rears, and wrapped in new Kumho Ecsta PS31’s. They currently have less than 1,200 miles on them.
Service records for the work performed under the current ownership can be found in the picture gallery. The service records of the supercharger installation and the 5 to 6-speed conversion completed previously are not available. The most recent work the current owner had done was an oil & filter change, along with the supercharger belt pulleys replaced in June 2020. When first obtaining the car, a substantial service and upgrade was completed, totaling $12,976 in January 2018. This included:
- Timing belt service (including water pump, valve cover gaskets, timing belt, cam plugs, pulley set)
- Replaced all coolant hoses
- Replaced radiator assembly
- Four new Bilstein B6 shocks installed
- Oil & Filter change
- New Enkei wheels and Kumho tires installed
- Replaced fuel filter
- Throttle body cleaning
- Replaced spark plugs
- Brake fluid and clutch hydraulic system flush
- Replaced oil pan gasket
- Replaced right axle boots
- Replaced supercharger belt
- Supercharger oil service
- Replaced trunk and engine hatch struts
- Replaced windshield moulding

Spare tire pics uploaded
I own the car. Last payment recently submitted to make the transaction easier. I have two spares. Honestly don’t remember how we got two. Will have to check on the toolkit. Most likely in the trunk.
Also do you have the spare tire and tool kit?

……last comment as we near the final 60min…… she has an optima yellow top battery. Reason I bring up this trivial point up is that it speaks to the attention given to every element of the car since we took possession. Even the battery is top notch. Good luck and thanks for your interest in our NSX.
I’d highly recommend looking at all the work my mechanic did for her since we took ownership (detailed receipts in the picture section along with cost). It really does run like new.
The radio isn’t great and the windows take, what I feel, is a little longer than normal to roll up. Other than those two, no.
Hi – Any issues with the car at all other than the scratches on the door and trunk?
Great question. Once upon a time I ran the paint department for a Ford plant, so I took a mil gauge to every panel. All reading ~4.0mils. So never been painted over, nor run through the oem spray booth more than once. The paint is good quality. A couple scratches under the Acura badge on the trunk and a scratch on the drivers side door. I’ll post pics of the undercarriage too. The car hasn’t been rained on since I bought it. Garage kept and never driven on a wet road since I owned it.
