DreamCarXchange is thrilled to offer this final year Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6. 2002 was the final sendoff of the beloved Firebird, and this example is a sought-after 6-speed manual Trans Am with the WS6 package and is completely stock. This WS6 shows just 15,932 miles and is finished in Navy Blue Metallic over Taupe leather and comes with almost all factory options. It is believed to be 1 of 485 Navy Blue Metallic 6-speed manual WS6 Trans Am coupe produced for 2002. According to the CARFAX it was originally sold by Rimrock Cadillac GMC in Billings, Montana in April 2002 and had a total of three owners. The most recent and current owner purchased it in late 2006 and has accumulated less than 3,000 miles over their 14 years of ownership. The representing dealer is providing a clean Washington title to the new owner.
The 2002 Trans Am WS6 package consisted of the Ram Air induction system, functional hood scoops, 17″ high polished aluminum wheels, 275/40/17 speed rated tires at all four corners, low restriction dual exhaust, tuned suspension and power steering cooler. The Ram Air and for 2001-2002 WS6’s, the new camshaft and the LS6 intake from the Z06 Corvette, increased power and torque of the 5.7 liter LS1 V-8 engine to 325 hp @ 5200 rpm and 350 lb-ft of torque at 4400 rpm.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via the 6-speed manual transmission with the optional Hurst shifter and optional traction control to keep everything in check.
The interior is finished in Taupe leather and features a six-way power drivers seat, the Monsoon CD stereo with equalizer along with the optional 12 CD changer. The instrument panel features analog gauges with digital odometer currently reading just 15,932 miles.
Like all Trans Ams of this year, this WS6 is equipped with glass T-tops.
A copy of the CARFAX can be found in the table to the upper right and shows numerous service maintenance records, with the most recent completed in December 2020. It also reports an accident in July 2013. According to the owner, another vehicle hit the driver rear quarter panel at low speed, requiring it to be replaced.
Multiple pictures of the undercarriage can be found in the picture gallery.
The WS6-specific 17″ x 9″ polished Speedline wheels are currently wrapped in Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires sized 275/40/17 with manufacturer date codes from 2013.
Additional pictures can be found in the Pictures tab above. This is a very low mile, final year F-body WS6 6-speed, so bid often to make it yours!
