DreamCarXchange is pleased to present our first Land Rover, a 1994 Defender. This Defender is finished in White over a Black interior and currently shows 221,678 kilometers (approximately 137k miles). According to the selling dealer it was recently restored, including a rebuilt engine, transmission, full repaint and interior, all prior from it being imported from Italy to the United States earlier in 2019. It comes with “Boost” aluminum wheels on new tires along with the standard steel wheels as well. It is being sold with some restoration records and a clean New Jersey title.
The non-NAS (North American Specification) 1994 Defenders introduced a new engine, the 300Tdi which was a 2.5 liter turbo diesel that produced when new 111 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. The transmission was also new for 1994, the R380 5-speed manual replaced the LT177 (which was originally introduced in 1983) and was produced in Defenders up until 2006. The seller states that this example runs, pulls and shifts very well.
This Defender was imported from Italy earlier in 2019 and has been titled with a New Jersey title. The seller notes that the NJ title states 60,000 miles, though the odometer currently reads 221,678 kilometers. Prior to being imported, it underwent a repaint, engine and transmission rebuild and installation of a new Exmor interior. Once it reached the states, a sound dampening door kit, Land Rover AM/FM/CD player, speakers and antenna were installed. Invoices for the transmission rebuild and radio installation are shown in the picture gallery, however they are not available for the engine rebuilt, repaint, etc.
The interior was replaced with Exmoor pieces finished in black, Exmoor cubby box, and includes Land Rover rubber mats front and rear.
This Defender has been updated with aluminum “Boost” wheels on Michelin Defender LTX M&S tires sized LT 265/75/16, but also comes with a set of the standard steel wheels and tires.
The selling dealer provided approximately 25 pictures of the suspension/undercarriage.
Make sure you check out the 100+ additional pictures found in the “Pictures” tab above. The selling dealer is charging $0.00 for documentation or other fees and is open to trades for this Defender so if you have a vehicle that you would like to trade-in as part or all of your bid, click the “trade-in” button towards the top of the page to begin a private negotiation with the selling dealer regarding your trade-in vehicle and value. Good luck with your bidding!
