DreamCarXchange is happy to present another 2015 Porsche Boxster, this time a GTS. This 981 Boxster is equipped with a hard to find 6-speed manual transmission and is finished in Black over Black/Luxor Beige full leather and a Black soft-top. This is a one-owner car that was recently acquired by the selling dealer from the original owner in South Carolina. It was originally purchased from Hennessy Porsche in Roswell, Georgia by the one owner who then had it serviced by Baker Motor Company of Charleston, SC. It currently shows 52,631 miles. It comes with numerous maintenance records, a CARFAX that shows the 10k, 20k, 30k 40k and 50k services being performed and is being sold with a clean New Jersey title.
The 981 Boxster (introduced in 2013) was the last models that were offered with a normally aspirated flat 6 cylinder engine, as the newer models (2017 and up) come with turbocharged fours. The 3.4 liter engine in this car was rated at 330 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque from the factory, enough to accelerate from 0-60 mph in approximately 4.7 seconds and a top speed rated at 178 mph. Mated with the 6-speed manual transmission, this is what many consider to be the driver’s choice before turbocharging and without the PDK (dual-clutch automatic) transmission.
The GTS model adds to the Boxster S features by including an additional 15 hp and 7 lb-lbs of torque, the Sport Chrono package, PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management), dual-mode Sport Exhaust, revised/more aggressive front and rear bumpers (this front bumper cover has a clear bra), 20″ wheels, black headlight surround, PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System), Sport Seats Plus, Sport Design Steering Wheel, and a leather and Alcantara interior. This example deletes the Alcantara in favor of Black/Luxor Beige leather dash/doors/seats, and has a leather steering wheel.
The selling dealer states that it is a clean example with only rock chips that are consistent with the mileage. Some maintenance comes with the car, with the full maintenance history of the 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k and 50k services completed by Baker Motor Company of Charleston as found on the CARFAX.
The GTS rides on the standard 20″ wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires with manufacturer date codes of 0419 fronts and 5018 rears.
The CARFAX indicates an damage report in April 2016, which was a impact to the rear. This resulted in the rear bumper cover, trunklid, spoiler and some other items being replaced, which was completed by Baker Collision Center in Charleston, SC. The selling dealer states was done to a done to a very high standard. The car comes with both keys and factory books/manuals.
The CARFAX can be downloaded from the Key Specifications table above and make sure you check out the additional pictures found in the “Pictures” tab above. The selling dealer is charging $0.00 for documentation or other fees. The selling dealer had the car inspected by a European Car specialist in South Carolina prior to purchasing it. They found it to be in excellent overall condition and had zero over-revs in all ranges. The completed inspection report can be found in the “BwC Inspection Report” tab above.
The seller is open to trade-ins on this 981 Boxster, so if you have a car that you would like to trade-in as part or all of your bid, click the “trade-in” button towards the top of the page to begin a private negotiation with the selling dealer regarding your trade-in vehicle and value. Good luck bidding!
