Personally Identifiable Information about you may also be provided to us by third parties. For example, if you access the Service through a third-party connection or log-in, such as Facebook, or by “following” or “liking” the Service or linking your account to the Service, etc., that third party may pass certain information retained by them about you (e.g., content viewed by you, content liked by you, and information about the advertisements you have been shown or have clicked on, etc.) to the Company. This information could include, among other things, the user ID associated with your account, any information you have permitted the third party to share with us, and any information you have made public in connection with that service. You control the Personally Identifiable Information you allow us to have access to through the privacy settings on the applicable third-party site and the permissions you give us when you grant us access to the Personally Identifiable Information retained by the respective third-party site about you. By associating an account managed by a third-party site with your account on the Service and authorizing us to have access to this information, you agree that we can collect, use and retain the information provided by these third-party sites in accordance with this policy. We may also use plug-ins or other technologies from various social media sites. If you click on a link provided via a social media plug in, you are voluntarily establishing a connection with that respective social media site. You are encouraged to review and, if necessary, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to the Service.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

As you navigate through and interact with the Service, we may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain Non-Personally Identifiable Information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including:

  • details of your visits to our Service, including traffic data, location data, logs, search queries, and other communication data and the resources that you access and use on the Service; and

  • information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, internet service provider, operating system, and browser type.

We also may use these technologies to collect information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or other online services (behavioral tracking). The information we collect automatically is statistical data and does not include Personally Identifiable Information, but we may maintain it or associate it with Personally Identifiable Information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. It helps us to improve our Website and to deliver a better and more personalized Service, including by enabling us to:

  • Estimate our audience size and usage patterns;

  • Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the Service according to your individual interests;

  • Speed up your searches; and

  • Recognize you when you return to the Service.

The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include, among others:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer or device. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Service. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you direct your browser to our Website.

  • Flash Cookies. Certain features of our Website may use local stored objects (or Flash cookies) to collect and store information about your preferences and navigation to, from, and on our Website. • Web Beacons. Pages of our Website and our e-mails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons (also referred to as clear gifs, pixel tags, and single-pixel gifs) that permit the Company, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity).

We do not collect Personally Identifiable Information automatically, but we may tie this information to Personally Identifiable Information about you that we collect from other sources or you provide to us. For information about how you can limit the use of behavioral tracking or other automatic data collection technologies that we may use, see “Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information” below.

We use third-party analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the Service. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, your browser’s width and height, and other information that assists us in improving the Service. The third-party analytics services may aggregate the data they collect with data they collect from other websites to enhance their offering of analytical services, but will not use any information they collect for any directed marketing purposes.

Third-Party Use of Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies.

Some content or applications, including advertisements, on the Service are served by third-parties, including advertisers, ad networks and servers, content providers, and application providers. These third parties may use cookies alone or in conjunction with web beacons or other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our Service. The information they collect may be associated with your Personally Identifiable Information or they may collect information, including Personally Identifiable Information, about your online activities over time and across different websites and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you have any questions about an advertisement or other targeted content, you should contact the responsible provider directly. For information about how you can opt out of receiving targeted advertising from many providers, see “Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information” below.
